Rudiments
of Blacksmithing I This class continues where A Taste of Blacksmithing left off. You will learn more about shop safety and forge-fire management. You will be guided thorough projects that will expand your repertoire of basic blacksmithing techniques including drawing, bending, cutting, twisting, fullering, punching, drifting, and riveting. There will be time after the hammers are down for questions and further discussion. It will be helpful if students have taken A Taste of Blacksmithing, or have some slight blacksmithing experience.
