Tongs to make Tongs

The Gift of Tongs-with-which-tongs-are-made is taken as evidence that God loves us and gives us what we need to live properly. I believe there is deep truth in that.

But I do not believe that a fully-formed pair of tongs just fell out of the sky and landed in the dirt next to Tubal-cain.

I believe that the Gift of Tongs lies within each of us.
We each have been given the ability (tapped or un-) to find those things in our environment that we can use to solve our problems.

Each and every one of us has been given that Gift, and we carry it always.
To not use it is just wrong.

If something's not right, not working, awkward...

Smith up. Fix it. Use your Tongs.
