You've taken Basics of Blacksmithing. You've taken Basics II. Now what? There are a number of options; this one is a mix of Directed Open Smithy (personal projects under supervision and direction) and new techniques (in ad-hoc order, as need and interest arise). For intermediate students, this is an opportunity to work on your own projects under the supervision and direction of a teacher (as opposed to Open Smithy, which has no supervision). Periodically, the teacher will assess the class skills and suggest a topic to work on together for a week or three.
New students can join the class at appropriate times (i.e., not in the midst of a group topic) for a minimum of 4 weeks.
