Wrought Iron on sale!

What could be better than a gift that's as strong as steel? Recreate the evolution of civilization into the Iron Age in your very own home, or buy a Gift Certificate so that a friend, relative, or loved one can learn the joys of hammering on incandescent steel themselves!

We'll have a variety of hand-forged items, both traditional and modern in style, on display ready for your purchasing pleasure.

We'll be able to create Blacksmithing Gift Certificates after a consultation with the Smith.

Currently in stock we have: lots of S-Hooks, a couple trivets, some candlesticks, cooking forks (good for toasting marshmallows by the fireplace!), some simple knives, some small dragon-shaped desk sculptures, and other things.

Prerequisite:

Required: A rapid Covid test that day.
Yes, really, we're still asking for it in 2025.
It's still out there, and no fun at all.

Please wear proper clothing for visiting or working in the forge:
- closed top shoes
(Preferably leather, preferably high-topped. Sneakers are sufficient... but sandals, crocs, pumps, mules... are not. If you can see the skin of your foot, or the foot of your socks, it's not good enough.)
- natural fiber clothing
(Synthetics are a risk because: IF a HOT thing touches them it's likely that the material will melt and stick to your flesh, making the burn even worse than it would be through a natural fiber.)
- long pants that cover the tops of the shoes.
(To keep hot coals and bits of steel from getting down into your shoes. Which I hear is a bunch of No Fun.) Click here for more safety information.
