Nailmaking
Hold it. Right there.

What's valuable enough to burn your house down for? Nails.

Well, they were back in the day of the westward movement in the US.
Enough so that laws were passed against the practice of burning down your old house for the nails before heading West.

We will make a nail header and then use it to make hand-wrought nails.

The cost of the class includes 3 hours of Open Smithy (at a discounted rate) for the continued making of nails.

Techniques:  drawing, hardening, tempering, upsetting, punching,  cutting,  heading nails.

Gift Certificates for Nailmaking are available.

It's still out there, and no fun at all.
