You have a Prospect Hill Forge Gift Certificate... Excellent! Now what?

If your Gift Certificate looks like the one above (but has writing in the blanks, and has a number in the blank on the top line) it is directly from Prospect Hill Forge.

(If your Certificate does not look like this, the person who gave it to you has been creative and it's very possible we know nothing about it. Talk to them first.)

Most Gift Certificates are given for our "A Taste of Blacksmithing", "A Forged Bottle Opener", "Nothing but Knives", or "Open Smithy" offerings.

Our classes fill quickly and it's not uncommon for them to all be full at any particular moment.
In that case, The Thing To Do is to add yourself to the Standby List for the specific class(es) you want to get into.
The people on the standby list are the first to hear when there's a cancellation in -that- class.
Gift Certificate holders are the very first to be notified when new sessions are put up on the schedule (usually about 24 hours before the regular Notification List).

Also note:

GCs for Taste and the Bottle Opener are good for either of those classes.
What's the difference?
In the Bottle Opener class you make an object for which you could easily find daily use.
In the Taste class, you get to learn a thing, then you get to do it again on the other end of the bar to reinforce that knowledge.
If you just want to try blacksmithing once, the Bottle Opener is a slightly better class. If you are thinking in terms of developing your blacksmithing skills, the Taste class is slightly better. Each will do either job.
